Electrical repairs & troubleshooting

Dead circuits, warm outlets, tripping breakers, flickering lights — diagnosed and fixed, 24/7 for emergencies.

Half of this trade is detective work. A breaker that trips once a week or lights that dim when the furnace kicks in both have causes, and finding them is faster (and cheaper) with someone who has seen the pattern a hundred times.

What’s included

  • Troubleshooting: dead circuits, nuisance tripping, shared-neutral problems, voltage complaints
  • Repairs: damaged devices, overheated connections, water-damaged equipment
  • Safety checks when buying or selling a home
  • 24/7 emergency response for genuinely urgent problems: burning smells, sparking, no power
  • A written explanation of what we found, in plain language

How it works

  1. Describe the symptom. When it happens, what’s on the circuit, how long it’s been doing it. Photos help.
  2. Diagnose. We isolate the fault and show you what we found before repairing anything.
  3. Repair and verify. Fixed, tested under load, and explained.

Common questions

My breaker keeps tripping. Should I just replace it with a bigger one?

No, and be wary of anyone who offers to. Breakers trip to protect the wire behind them. The fix is finding the overload or fault, not removing the protection.

Is a warm outlet an emergency?

Warm is worth a call this week; hot or smelling like burnt plastic is worth a call right now. That’s what the 24/7 line is for: (604) 339-9196.

Do you charge to diagnose?

We charge for diagnostic time, and we tell you the rate before we come out. What you get for it is the actual cause of the problem.
